THE INSA (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées) of TOULOUSE is
under the authority of the ministry responsible for Higher Education,
and is authorised to award a diplôme d’ingénieur, a Master’s degree in
engineering. It is part of a Network of 5 INSAs located in Lyon, Rennes,
Rouen and Strasbourg.
The ENAC (Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile) is the French university
for civil aviation. It proposes various training programs: pilots,
engineers, technicians and air traffic controllers. The work for the
contribution to the new algorithms suited to cope with multipath and
interference as well as new hybridisation will be performed at ENAC
within the LTST (Laboratoire de Traitment du Signal pour les
Telecommunications).
This lab is a part of the electronic systems
department. It is in charge of satellite radionavigation activities and
has acquired a large experience through many studies conducted with
companies, universities and the French administration for transport.
Examples of technical experience is presented below. The presentation is
organised according to the two main types of research activities of the
lab: academic research (Ph.D., Post-Doctorate, Research) and the
expertise actions.
Ph.D., Post-Doctorate, Research:
- Analysis of the effect of multipath on GPS receivers
(Ph.D.
presented 1997) - MR/CNES
- Reduction of GPS acquisition/tracking thresholds (Post Doctorate
completed Dec. 98) - STNA/CNES
- End-to-end GPS simulator for Differential GPS Ref. Station
(Post
Doctorate completed Dec. 99) – STNA/SEXTANT
- Study of the contribution of GNSS/INS hybridisation to GNSS integrity
monitoring for civil aviation application (Ph.D. presented 2003) - STNA/SEXTANT
- Improvement of GNSS integrity performance in presence of jammers
(Ph.D. to be presented in Sep. 2004) – MR/STNA
- Improvement of robustness of GNSS/INS hybrid navigator
(Ph.D. to be
presented in Sep.2005) – DGA/THAV
- Analysis of integrity performance of Galiléo
(Ph.D. to be presented in
Nov. 2005) – ALCATEL
- Hybridization of GNSS receiver with other systems for indoor
navigation (Ph.D. to be
presented in Nov. 2006) – ALCATEL |
