EADS Corporate Research Centres, with sites in Germany, Spain and
France,
provide world-class research capabilities in main aeronautics
research topics
such as materials, processes, structure engineering,
systems environment
and information technologies for engineering. They
contribute to added value by
shared research activities with EADS
Business Units (as core actor within the EADS Research and Technology
network) and with external research organisations
and universities as
well as other industrials.
EADS CCR is the French part of EADS Corporate Research Centre.
It is a
“Groupement d’Intérêt Economique” (G.I.E.), whose members are
AIRBUS-France (40%), EADS France (40%), MBDA-France (10%)
and EADS
Launch Vehicules (10%). EADS CCR has a permanent staff of 300 people,
60% of which are senior scientists, located in two Centers :
Suresnes
and Toulouse.
Its objective is to carry out research
activities, which require a concentration
of skills or equipment and
which correspond to cross-Business Units interest
in the following
technical fields :
Systems (including lightning protection, electromagnetic compatibility,
optics and lasers), Materials and structures, High performance
scientific computing
