AIRBUS DEUTSCHLAND GmbH develops and produces around
one third of the European Airbus and is recognized for its
technological expertise in nearly all fields of aeronautical
engineering. Through the Airbus Industrie Materiel Support Centre (MSC)
organization and on behalf of Airbus Industries, the company is
responsible for providing spare parts to the AIRBUS-Fleet worldwide.
Currently, the concern employs approximately 14,800 persons. R&TD
capabilities of Airbus cover all aspects of aircraft design and
optimization (aerodynamics, aeroelastics, structures, weights,
performances, operating costs, environmental aspects etc.), airframe
and systems development and engine integration.
Airbus Germany and generally north Germany where the company is
based is considered as center of competence in Europe for cabin
system.
It is as cabin system expert that Airbus Germany will participate in
ANASTASIA.
The main focus of this participation is to size the Cabin need as
well as the cabin constraints for the specification of new
communication means. |
